Happy Easter!!! and Happy Spring!

After being honored with the Sunshine Award, I felt very inspired to be working in the garden.

On Good Friday, I decided that I was not going to do anything else but be in my yard! It felt like I belonged out their that day... It was a long day, and the garden kicked my butt!....  I woke up the next morning so sore... My aches had aches...
But, You know?! The thing is, it felt good... I was so happy to be able to plant and weed...  I continued on yesterday by visiting my local hardware store, I bought a bunch of flowers to pot up my hanging baskets...  I sat out there with my daughter, working so hard, I even got a little sun which isn't really good for me, but it felt good! It really looks like spring in my back yard now...

My daughter wanted to have some old faithful plants, (I call them). I let my daughter have some pots, (self-watering ones) to plant Coleus. I have always loved these, they are quite easy to keep!

They do look amazing! Well, I think so anyway!    Now if she can keep them alive!   LOL!

I planted these Zinnias in a hanging basket! The colors are just so vibrant I couldn't help but get them! I think they scream summer, but I didn't really care! I just wanted have the color popping out!

Rylee, my daughter, talked me into buying these too, Cosmos, I really wanted bright colors, but these did scream spring! Don't you think?  Yep! They'll do!

I planted green onions last summer, I thought that I used them all... but lo' and behold, look.... I have reproducers, I never thought that onion flowers were so pretty! I love what they look like!

I had to pull my old JalapeƱo pepper plant. It wasn't happy and it was ready to let go! So in place of that I planted a Pink Jasmine plant!
Oh Man! The fragrance is amazing!!! I can't wait for it to go full bloom!

Of course, My bougainvillea was yelling for blood, and of course... I involuntarily donated again, when she needed to be tamed! But that's okay! The hummingbirds like her (for some reason) and that's all that counts!

 RIGHT?

Still working on the garden, I will have more to share soon!

For those that share Easter! Happy Easter!   For those that celebrate passover! I hope it was wonderful! And the ones who celebrate being with family and well what ever it is... I hope it was just as wonderful as ever!

As  for My day was beautiful!!
