Sometimes, when the day hasn't been very nice to you, all a person wants to do is run and hide under a rock or drink or eat etc... whatever the vice for the day is, I knew what I wanted, and couldn't wait to do it..
What was my vice you ask?
Well, good question!!!, ....
All I wanted to do was go in my garden and find the incredible things that the garden had to offer.. I for that day went out in the garden, and had a nice breather, but inspiration was no where to be found.
Inspiration was in great need that day, all day, and I think "it" went on vacation for itself..( rude much? huh?)
Heat, hard work and being hungry, pretty much sucked inspiration away from my grasp..
(again, rude much?)
But I stepped outside, took that deep breath, I looked in one direction, the garden was clean and freshly mowed. Inspiration was trying to show itself, but when I went to take a couple of snapshots, each time I tried, I was not fast enough, everywhere I looked, anything I approached, nothing...
I knelt down by a water dish, I looked over and the most amazing picture could have been shot. At the water dish, a bee calmly, and slowly taking a long deep drink. It in itself was an incredible shot, and I failed to get that picture to share...

So those that have certain moments as such, I do have to say, we all have been there and being able to just see such a thing was a pleasure and those are the moments I want to remember.
My Sunflower Experiment
So with this experiment, I wanted to see how late I can plant them, I am leaving them in the pots.
They seem a bit lanky and long. I'm not sure why that is.. the sunflowers that are here next to my Bird House Gourds are some that were rogue or volunteers or what-ever the term, they are finishing up with flowering, see and I'm not sure the birds see them yet!
Bell Peppers a many!
Not really, but I have quite a few coming. The plants themselves seem happy to be out in the sunshine getting some rays, well, after being hidden under all the tomato "who-haw!"
Waiting and on pepper patrol!!!
Pumpkins and Gourds
The pumpkins and gourds are doing beautifully... They are so happy right now!
The pumpkin is large and spreading see!
The Bird House Gourds are actually flowering I think... (I could be wrong) ( I am crazier than well.. you know!)
Basil Jelly and Rosemary Jelly!!! mmmmm!! (maybe)
I think I want to try making jelly, I want to make basil, then try to make rosemary jellies... Won't they be yummy gift for the holidays coming???
I found recipes and I guess that will be the next tangent!!!
